Refund policy
Returns & Refund Policy
At LUMIIERE NOOR, we take great care in selecting, creating and preparing every piece of jewellery. We hope you love your purchase, but we understand that sometimes you may wish to make a return.
This policy applies in addition to your statutory consumer rights.
30-Day Returns
For eligible items, we offer a 30-day return period, beginning from the date you receive your order.
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
- Be unworn and unused
- Be in the same condition in which it was received
- Have all original tags attached, where applicable
- Be returned in its original packaging
- Include all original stones, components, accessories and presentation materials
- Be accompanied by proof of purchase
Items showing signs of wear, damage, alteration, missing components or unauthorised repair may not be accepted under our voluntary returns policy.
How to Request a Return
To request a return, please email info@lumiierenoor.com within the applicable return period.
Please include:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- Your reason for return
Once your return request has been reviewed and accepted, we will provide you with return instructions.
Please contact us before sending your jewellery back. Items returned without first contacting us may not be processed as an authorised return.
Unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or applicable consumer law provides otherwise, customers are responsible for the cost of returning their order.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured postal service when returning jewellery, as we cannot be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit to us.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of certain products, the following items are excluded from our voluntary returns policy unless faulty or otherwise covered by your statutory rights:
- Earrings, where a hygiene-related return restriction lawfully applies
- Jewellery sets containing earrings, where a hygiene-related return restriction lawfully applies
- Custom-made jewellery
- Personalised jewellery
- Bespoke orders
- Gift cards
Sale items may also be excluded from our voluntary 30-day returns policy.
These exclusions do not affect your statutory rights where an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or where you otherwise have a legal right to a remedy.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your jewellery arrives damaged, faulty, or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us at info@lumiierenoor.com as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of delivery, so that we can investigate the issue promptly.
Please provide:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the item
- Photographs showing the fault or damage
- Photographs of the packaging
- A photograph of the shipping label, where relevant
We may request additional photographs or information to help us assess the issue.
Depending on the circumstances and your applicable consumer rights, an appropriate remedy may include a repair, replacement, exchange or refund.
The requested 48-hour notification period is intended to help us investigate delivery-related issues quickly and does not limit your statutory rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.
Handmade Jewellery & Natural Variations
Many LUMIIERE NOOR pieces incorporate handcrafted elements, natural stones, freshwater pearls and individually finished details.
Due to the nature of these materials and production techniques, there may be slight variations between individual pieces, including differences in:
- Colour
- Shape
- Texture
- Stone characteristics
- Pearl appearance
- Placement
- Finish
These subtle variations are part of the individual character of handcrafted and naturally sourced jewellery and will not normally be considered faults.
Condition of Returned Jewellery
Subject to your statutory rights, returns under our voluntary returns policy may be refused where:
- The jewellery has been worn or used
- The item has been damaged after delivery
- The item has been altered or repaired
- Stones, components or accessories are missing
- Original packaging or tags are missing
- There are signs of wear, misuse or improper handling
- The item falls within a non-returnable category
- The returned item is not the item originally purchased
Where permitted by law, we may make an appropriate deduction from a refund if the value of an eligible returned item has been reduced because it has been handled beyond what would reasonably be necessary to inspect it.
Exchanges
We do not currently offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different item, size or style, please return your eligible item in accordance with this policy and place a new order.
This helps us process returns and new orders as quickly and accurately as possible.
Bespoke, Custom & Personalised Orders
Custom-made, personalised and bespoke pieces are created or sourced specifically to your requirements and therefore cannot normally be returned simply because you have changed your mind.
Once production, sourcing or manufacturing has commenced, cancellation may no longer be possible.
This does not affect your statutory rights where a custom, personalised or bespoke item is faulty, damaged, not as described or does not conform to the agreed order.
Incorrect Addresses, Refused & Unclaimed Deliveries
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information when placing an order.
If an order is returned to us because:
- An incorrect or incomplete address was provided
- Delivery was refused
- The parcel was not collected
- The parcel was otherwise left unclaimed
we may require payment of additional delivery charges before resending the order.
Where a refund is due, reasonable costs incurred may be deducted where permitted by applicable law.
For international orders, customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes or import charges. If an order is returned to us because these charges were not paid, any refund or redelivery will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.
UK & European Cancellation Rights
Nothing in this Returns & Refund Policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
For eligible online purchases, customers in the UK and European Economic Area may have the legal right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason, subject to applicable exclusions.
Certain goods, including items made to a customer's specifications or clearly personalised, may be excluded from this cancellation right.
Where a hygiene-related exemption applies, certain sealed goods may also lose cancellation eligibility after the relevant seal has been broken.
Where statutory cancellation rights apply, please contact us at info@lumiierenoor.com within the applicable cancellation period.
Refunds
Once your return has been received, we will inspect the item and notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.
We aim to process approved refunds promptly and within any timeframe required by applicable consumer law. Your bank, card provider or payment provider may require additional time for the funds to appear in your account.
Where required by consumer law, eligible standard outbound delivery charges will also be refunded. Any additional amount paid for an upgraded, express or premium delivery service may not be refundable.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we confirmed that your refund was processed and you have not received it, please contact us.
